SCHOOL PRINCIPALS

Mrs Katherine Knight: Katherine trained with Kathleen Thorpe, the founder this school.  Whilst dancing in "Second Chance", Youth for Christ's dance group, she met Vivienne and began a friendship which has lasted for many years.   She has established the pre-school and key stage 1 dance classes and pioneered "Danceaway", a unique introduction to dance for children aged 3 and under.She has studied the RAD, IDTA and NATD syllabi. Katherine is married to Chris and they have 6 children, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs Vivienne Kibble: Vivienne trained at Joyce Butler's school in Ealing, London. She completed her teacher training at the Royal Academy of Dance graduating as licentiate in 1985. From 1986 to 1995 she ran the Kibble Dancing Academy in Coventry! In 1999 she joined Katherine as partners and principals at LWAD  She holds the LRAD, ARAD, AISTD and AIDTA certificates. Vivienne is married to Gavin and they have 3 children and no grandchildren as far as they aware.
