Synergy Dance Company Performed in Belgium with the Warwickshire County Youth Orchestra to much acclaim.

Whilst LWAD shows are primarily about showcasing the talents of our students, the Academy uses the opportunity to support a local charity of its choice.

This year we were delighted to support a new local charity who’s aim is that “No one in Coventry goes hungry”. Coventry Central foodbank is a collaboration between seven Coventry churches who together collect food and repackage in order to distribute nutritionally balanced food parcels to people in need. Each food parcel will feed an individual or family for three days.

The foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust, a national charity aiming to alleviate food poverty throughout the United Kingdom.

In addition to making a donation to the charity from the proceeds of the show, the audience also donated enough long dated food to fill two wheelie bins.
