Sherlock Holmes and the Spanish Tiara was performed to over 1,800 people at the Warwick Arts Centre on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March, 2011. A complex tale of love and lies featured no less than 8 travelling crates and 14 tiaras to create mayhem and confusion as Holmes and Watson try and recover the real tiara stolen from the head of the Queen of England. Commenting on the show Anne Simpson wrote "just a quick note to say congratulations on such a fantastic professional show this year, I really enjoyed it as did lots of my family and friends". Marion Rawling wrote "you must have worked so hard to produce such an amazing show. The music and costumes were really something and it was great fun all the way through". Well we can't deny it was incredibly hard work not only for LWAD's teachers but also for the two casts (one on Saturday and one on Sunday) - nearly 500 performers in all. Well done - we are very proud of you. And if you want to relive the whole thing again, you can order a DVD of the show. |
